About
Learning the game from a very young age provided me the opportunity to not only compete at a very high level but also gave me the chance to work under some of the most recognizable instructors in the game. Having grown up in the golf business with a father who has been a PGA member for over 40yrs. Thus allowing me the privilege to obtain knowledge that I believe separates me from many instructors.
The greatest part of teaching the game to others no matter the level of experience is watching a player evolve. To be a part of someone's first well struck quality golf shot, too having players win or shoot there lowest round of there career. Golf is a beautiful game that players of all ages can play and enjoy for many years. With its difficulty as a sport that can't just be learned in a couple lessons to me that's the beauty of golf. It's a never ending learning process that has to be earned thru a persons efforts and can't just be purchased.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Assessment of skill level. Previous instruction. Find out what they are looking to get out of our time and what they are willing to do to improve. Video of swing and analysis.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As previously stated I've learned the game from top instructors as well as being around the golf industry from the moment I could walk. Having a father as PGA professional I was sponge for knowledge taking in as much as possible.

How did you get started teaching?
After my playing career ended I transitioned into helping other people learn the great game of golf. I feel with my background from multiple great instructors I have a lot to offer other players.
What types of students have you worked with?
In the past I've worked with all skill levels from first time beginners to high level college players and everything in between.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Past, recent and future. I will always enjoy when working with a student and it clicks for them. Watching a beginner hit that first solid shot or a highly skilled player finding there key that allows them to become more consistent and confident.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
All the knowledge in the world does no good without putting in the work to make the changes. No substitute for working hard there isn't a quick way to getting better at the game of golf. Patience and practice.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Are they a method instructor or do they work with you as an individual. Personally I believe that no two people are built the same so we all shouldn't swing the same. I always like to take the top 10 players in the world and show how each have there own unique swings but still having many similarities that make them consistent.
