About this pro

Looking to improve your game? I can help. I've been around the game since I could walk. Growing up with a father as Golf Professional of over 40 years I've had the privilege to working with some of the most recognizable teachers in the world. Starting the game at the age of 3 I became one of the top junior golfers in the state of Florida winning 100's of junior events including making the quarter finals of the US junior amateur.  Continuing my playing success into college at the University of Central Florida with multiple top finishes including the LSU invitational(2nd) in a stacked field of top 25 schools. Also having the opportunity to compete in the US AM at Oakmont.  After graduating I turned professional playing on multiple tours around the US and Internationally acquiring multiple wins.  While growing my knowledge from the likes of Jimmy Ballard(taught multiple pga tour major champions), Chris O'Connel(Matt Kuchar's instructor), Jim Hardy, David Leadbeatter academy, Matt Metzer, David Baker, Jeff Smith(students include Scott Piercy, Patrick Rogers, Wyndham Clark, Aaron Wise just to name a few of his many talented students) and most currently George Gankas who has some of the brightest young talent in the game. I have always been a student of the game believing that there is not just one way to swing and that is about making your swing more consistent and repeatable. I'm a firm believer in solid fundamentals in the things that can be perfect every time such as setup and alignment. NO body in the world hits perfect shots every time so building a solid short game along with course management are imperative in the betterment of your golf game.

I have a great passion for the game of golf as it has given me many great opportunities and allowed me to travel to places that I would otherwise never have visited. It has allowed me to meet many great people along the way as well as other world class athletes who love the game of golf.

Keeps it simple and in one session we started working on changes that provided results. Very good instructor/coach.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Assessment of skill level. Previous instruction. Find out what they are looking to get out of our time and what they are willing to do to improve. Video of  swing and analysis.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

As previously stated I've learned the game from top instructors as well as being around the golf industry from the moment I could walk. Having a father as PGA professional I was sponge for knowledge taking in as much as possible.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

How did you get started teaching?

After my playing career ended I transitioned into helping other people learn the great game of golf. I feel with my background from multiple great instructors I have a lot to offer other players.

What types of students have you worked with?

In the past I've worked with all skill levels from first time beginners to high level college players and everything in between.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Past, recent and future. I will always enjoy when working with a student and it clicks for them. Watching a beginner hit that first solid shot or a highly skilled player finding there key that allows them to become more consistent and confident.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

All the knowledge in the world does no good without putting in the work to make the changes. No substitute for working hard there isn't a quick way to getting better at the game of golf. Patience and practice.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Are they a method instructor or do they work with you as an individual. Personally I believe that no two people are built the same so we all shouldn't swing the same. I always like to take the top 10 players in the world and show how each have there own unique swings but still having many similarities that make them consistent.
