About

I was born in Honduras πŸ‡πŸ‡³ where I started my soccer and dance journey as just a fun thing to do. I moved to New York at 10 years old where I was influenced by other cultures , specifically the Colombian, Dominican, Puerto Rican and of course New York culture. It was there where I developed a strong foundation on my crafts which turned a fun hobby into a competitive one. I quickly began to garnered eyes and talks after each soccer match or after anyone saw me dance. I decided to put all my time in soccer which led me to win many trophies as a kid, teen, and adult life. I was always chosen to be captain at every team I been at which made me develop strong leadership skills. I quickly began getting more obsessed with the sport that I learned everything about it. Not only playing, but coaching, reffing, analyzing and planning which make this game so beautiful. I won many awards from MVP of my schools to recreational teams, to regional MVP awards. I was lucky enough to play college soccer where I learned how to take my skills to the next level. I played at Andrew College which is a NJCAA D1 private college where I had a scholarship and had the opportunity to not only play, but also start my coaching career. I became the assistant goalkeeping coach which quickly moved to the official goalkeeping coach after 6 months. I played for 2 years there and was a β€œstudent-coach”for one year. I then transferred to a NCAA division 2 school (University of South Carolina Aiken). The summer before starting my soccer career at SC I was lucky to have the opportunity to do pre-season with a professional soccer team in Honduras ( Vida FC, La Ceiba, Honduras) . I did a whole month and half of pre-season where I learned more aspects of the game and lots of secrets of the game. I went back home to the states after that summer where I played one year for South Carolina before rupturing my ACL. As you might guess how the story plays out. Was out of the fields for a while which ignited my passion for dance again. I started my dance journey in 2016 taking classes, workshops, traveling around the country and internationally to learn everything I can about the dance of Bachata. I then got recruited at a dance school in Orlando, Florida where they offered me official instructor training certification and to be part of their dance team. We performed and taught all over Florida and around the United States and years later I joined a competition team for Bachata. I been teaching bachata and soccer classes for the past 10 years now as just a extra hobby. I’m very patient, and have 20+ years in competitive soccer and 10+ years of dance(specifically Bachata) and I just love passing on my knowledge and helping other reach their fullest potential. I have not only professional experience, but also know all the ins and outs of these two crafts and feel like is a duty to share it. Thank you πŸ™πŸ½
