Lilia Slavova : Acting Coach/Acting Teacher/ Mentor/Director
About
I have a very strong passion for acting, training, and preparing students for stage and on-camera performances.
I have been acting for more than 50 years and teaching more than 30 years both in Europe and in the USA. This is proof of my absolute passion for this enchanting profession.
I have a Masters Degree in Arts and Drama from the National Academy of Theater and Film from Sofia, Bulgaria (EU).
My very honest and practical approach helps students to learn and develop the necessary skills for their dream profession.
Proud to say my students can be seen performing on TV, local theaters and Broadway. I am one of the first coaches to work also via Skype since I have students in Europe, the West Coast, and even Asia.
I am a member of SAG-AFTRA, Equity, and the European Actors Association.
I love working with all ages, but I especially enjoy developing young adults and kids! The magic of theater is why I have worked so long in this profession, never giving up, despite any hardships.
Inspiring and guiding is what I enjoy most.
My biggest joy in life is to see my students succeed. Several students of mine are starring in Broadway, movies and TV series.

How did you get started teaching?

Get some information about the education of the teacher.
Ask about the methods that the teacher believe in and practice.
There is no such thing as a stupid question.
