How did you get started teaching?
I started playing golf at the age of 23. I got very good at it very fast. At first it was just to play as a hobby. It then turned into an obsession that became a career. It has been over 20 plus years since that journey began.
Golf came easy to me. I want to pass on what I have learned over those 20 plus years to make it easy for you too.
What types of students have you worked with?
All types from beginner to professional golfers.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find one that you get along with and explains things clearly. Also, it is important that the instructor has a game plan to get you to your goals.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Can you help me to think differently so I can learn to freely swing the club?
Can you help me to become more flexible so I can swing faster?
Can you help me to become more focused on what I want to achieve rather then what I want to avoid?
Can you help me to improve my short game and putting so I can improve my scores?
Throughout this process, how are you going to get me to my goals?
