Ricky Rodriguez Professional Voice Actor
About
I am a professional Theater and Voice Actor from Lakeland Florida. I have studied both education and theater at Stetson University and Florida Southern College, respectively, and have volunteered at Elementary, Middle, and High Schools to teach Shakespeare, Singing, and Jazz Music for five years. My experience includes Video Games, Audio Dramas, and Animal Shows among other projects. Feel free to visit my website for more information.
I mainly enjoy the emotions I experience while acting. I have always had a fascination with feeling an emotion that I would normally never say. I also enjoy taking my audience out of reality for a moment. It gives people a chance to get away from life for a bit.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
On my student's first leason, I will ask them to perform both a monologue and a scene so that I may see where what needs work. Then we will work on two monologues and one scene to build technique. If the student has an audition or a performance coming up, we will work on that as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had several years of training at several schools, including Stetson University and Florida Southern College. I have also studied music education at Stetson.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My rate begins at $15 per hour and an extra $10 for every half hour. The prices are negotiable.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
If you are looking for an acting teacher, look for one that is still working in the acting business. If the teacher has not had an acting job in a while, there's a reason why.
