I have been teaching ballroom dancing for over 30 years. The methods I use have helped many peope in the area learn to dance to the level they desire - social or competitive.
I love watching my students become confident and comfortable on the dance floor.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson gives me a chance to evaluate the student's dance ability and his/her goals. I introduce the 4 basic elements of dancing and help the student decide what dances they would like to earn.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been teaching dancing for over 30 years. I have certification through the National Dance Counci of America to teach American and International styles. I am also a certified judge for ballroom dance competitions. I am an examiner for the DVIDA organization and that means I can do testing and provide certification to teachers and students.
