Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First I cover the essentials of stretching & muscle control so that students have healthy body mindfulness. Secondly, I discuss learning styles (auditory, visual, kinetic..etc) & medical history to ensure my lessons serve all walks of life! I then go into basic fundamentals of whichever style the student chooses, & build practice patterns. For those who enjoy progress reports, I encourage dance journaling & inviting students to community dance events to build confidence & celebrate their training !
