YSHELE is a Bachelors of Fine Arts Graduate, writer, choreographer and an Artistic Director who found it important to create a platform for students to learn and develop their performing Art in a safe and fun environment. She believes in creating an Artist developmental program that will allow students to freely express themselves, make strong artistic choices that will eventually develop into self-confident life decisions they will make in the future.
Yshele Uses her 8-year experience as a Children's advocate, Youth Leadership training, along with her Four Year Performing Arts Training from an Accredited Private College to assemble a Performing Arts Company, S.A.L.T Performing Arts.
She holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Performing Arts, and has worked in many facets of theatre as, Writer, Director, Actor, Usher, Sound, Light and Crew operator. Yshele long term goal is to have every student that trains through her program learn life skills and become better public speakers as well as industry ready artist.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Firstly I want to find out your Intrest. Then I find out your strength and weakness. Getting to know this I want tou be sure you understand the goal of working together is to grow and that mistakes are okay. So having you feel comfortable by playing a few fun theatre games and/Or games of your choice will also be apart of Or sessions!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education and training is in Performing Arts. This covers Acting, Dance and Musical Theatre.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
-Single student Hourly: $35 within a 10mile radius each additional mile will be $1.00
-Group per 5 hourly: $50 within 10mile radius each additional mile will be $1.00
-Single: by monthly Sessions 4hours: $130
-Group Per 5 Monthly 4hours: $190
also depends on distance.
Prices are negotiable to Low Income Family with proof of Monthly Income.
How did you get started teaching?
It began by Volunteering as a youth for church talent shows and Sunday morning selections. I would gather interested parties and create a piece to perform for the congregation.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with and still do work with At Risk, Shy, Bossy, Bold, Opinionated. In all of this are talents and creative minds that needs a place to be vulnerable and Expressive!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would say get to know them on a personal level. If you aren't fully comfortable with your teacher you will miss out on a learning opportunity. But you have to give them a chance first. Also always be open minded and ready to make mistakes this is the great process!
