I teach golf based on the students ability.   I watch them and adapt their training to suit their own style.

I love golf  live on a golf course, teach as much as I can and of course play whenever time permits.

FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

When working with someone new I would like to offer a package.  This way I get to spend enough time learning more about the students style and it gives me time to develop a more targeted approach to my teachings.   It also gives the student more opportunities to learn about me.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a LPGA Class A Teaching Professional.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My prices are based on the individual and his/her needs.

How did you get started teaching?

I started playing golf when I was very young and have played ever since.  I went to college to be a physical education teacher and altough I love teaching kids my golf for golf won out and I turned that teaching ability into golf instead.

What types of students have you worked with?

It doesnt matter to me how old you are.   I've taught to students as young as 3 and as old as 90.    Everyone can learn!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I took a little time off in recent years to care for my aging parents and wouldnt trade that time for anything in this world.   My parents were the most supportive, genuine folks you could ever meet.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Make sure that whoever you decide to use as your teacher they teach you based on your needs and not on theirs.   I like to teach my students based on their own abilities and not forcing them to do something that doesnt come natural to them.   I work their abilities into the teaching.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Students need to have somewhat of an idea what they need to work on and maybe even have a solution in thier minds.  They can discuss those with the instructor to see if they agree and go from there.
