About
I have been a USPTA certified tennis professional for 25 years. Grew up in Brevard County and reside in Indian Harbour Beach with my family. My approach to tennis instruction in very holistic and I spend a great deal of time on form and strategy. I teach my students how to think for themselves on the court by making sure they can identify what needs to be done both physically and mentally. I have spent my life on the tennis court and through my relationship with the game attempt to turn people on to this lifetime sport.

How did you get started teaching?
Have played and taught my whole life, but started teaching as a career after graduating with my BA
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students as young as 3 and as old as 95. I am currently working in several adult beginners as well as a touring professional player, and all levels in between.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be open to challenging yourself to try something new. Don't be afraid that you are not athletic enough, or that you are too old to learn something new.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What their goal is for coming to a tennis lesson. For example, for healthier living, a challenge, get more social, have some fun...
This would help me to better meet their needs during that lesson.
