Yoshvani Medina (born in Cuba in 1967, American and French citizen).

I am a playwright, director, actor and theater professor with 31 years of professional career. Diplomate of the Conservatory of Dramatic Art in Paris, France, with a specialization in Theater Art (Dramaturgy, Direction of Actors and Stage Direction). I have trained thousands of actors in Europe, United States, Latin America and the Caribbean. I have written and directed more than 140 professional plays, which have been published in Europe and the United States, and reviewed by the most important medias in the world such as The New York Times, CNN, L'Avant Scène Théâtre, among others.

Currently I am the director of the Actor's Arena company (25 actor’s), which is based in the Lehman Theater of the Miami Dade College North Campus.

I’m also the owner of CREA (Central of Resolution of the Artistic Engagement), a virtual academy where I teach Acting, Dramaturgy, Direction of Actors and Staging Direction, and where courses are offered in dozens of artistic specialties in english, french and spanish.

CREA is also a house of production for original audiovisual content (TV Series, YouTube Series, short films, IGTV Series, sketches), where the interpreters I train have the possibility of acting a character.

I like to train my actors, teach them the best kept secrets of the interpreting profession, and engage with them in a theatrical or audiovisual production of a high artistic level. Because my classes are not just acting lessons, but a sure way to get a role in a production. I have directed a dozen productions on the Off Broadway circuit of the New York theater, where I was awarded in 2016 with HOLA Award Best Playwright and in 2017 with the HOLA Award Best Musical, being a cast made up exclusively of actors trained by me.
