With of over 40 years of golf instruction experience, Larry Levow is one of only 500 people in the world who has attained special certification in teaching and coaching from the PGA of America, who is also certified US Kids Coach, certified by Positive Coaches Alliance and ADM the American Development Model for children. Find me a great doctor or attorney that intimately understands very specifically the systems science and techniques involved with their craft who has practiced them for years, but then find me one that cares that takes a personal interest in their client! That is the one I want. That's me."

Remember, in any industry, a great professional to help you is hard to find. You now have found one. And, if you are traveling from a further distance, It will be worth it.

I have been fortunate to coach and teach some of the worlds best players and, some of the worlds worst players. everyone improves at their own pace and level. Watching the progress of steady measured growth in the human spirit and possibility is extremely uplifting no matter the level.

Larry’s pedigree and accolades are truly visible when giving an instruction. Highly recommend!

Best professor ever! Larry is passionate about his students’ success. He went beyond in everything he did; the way he taught. He was never annoyed when asked a question, but instead always responded with, "What a great question." He then answered it to the best of he ability.

Larry knows his stuff. In just one lesson, I was able to improve my game. A very knowledgeable teacher.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

First I want to find out what the goals are that my student has. How do they see themselvs involved with the game. I want to hear their reasons for playing golf. From there we make a plan for success so they will accomplish their goals and have fun doing it!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am in constent training from the PGA Of America. It is part of my on going required education that happens every year. Plus this year (2016) I entered into the PGA certification program. This is an added level to the origional 3yr education program and continuing education requirements from the PGA of America. Only 6% of PGA Professionals have completed this level of higher education and certification.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$40 per half hour, $80 per hour and $100 per hour and up for group instruction are standard fees. I also have packages that can save students time and money.

How did you get started teaching?

I started teaching golf after years of playing and instruction from Bob Toski the worlds number one teacher at the time. I started The YMCA Golf Instruction Program when I was in college.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with some of the best players in the world and some of the worlds worst players. every one improved and had fun doing it!

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

The masters golf tournament is my favorite because the greens are lightning fast. I have studied putting and the physics of putting extensively working for the world renound Dave Pelz Short Game School. The information about putting was fascinating and my understanding after the years following made incredible changes in players at all levels.
