I am an USPTA professional Instructor. have 15+ years of experience, I worked 7 years for the New York Junior Tennis League, this program is to develop Tennis in the popular areas. I was in charge of Upper Manhattan as well South Bronx. The other 8 yrs I teach privately between Manhattan and Miami. My main priority is to make any new student to enjoy this sport! At the same time make the corrections necessary so the student can laugh and play.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
1) Introduce myself.
2) Get to know thwe Student, find out his background.
3)Goals and objectives, how he rates himself as player.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a USPTA Instructor. As well I played tennis for more than 20 years, out of those 8 I have been teaching many Students, and 2, professionaly.
I am always upgrading knowledge's taking all seminars necessary to keep up my professional knowledge, all seminars are supported by USPTA, as well as Under 10 program. .
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes. Regular class is $45.00. If Student wants more than one lesson per week will negociate. If is a group of 4 per hour, will be $20.00 each. If the group wants more classes per week will negociate.
How did you get started teaching?
I have a very competitive tennis level. One day one person in NYC, approached me to teach him, because of my style of play. He asked me one more time (convince me) to teach him. I gave him 3 years classes, his USTA went up to from beginner to 3.5. This pushed me to teach Tennis not only as a sport, as a business. I am good with people, saw the opportunity to pass my knowledge, and involve as many people into this beautiful sport.
What types of students have you worked with?
Mostly beginners, I had couple intermediate.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I Love kids (I have one 3 yrs old)and when there is an event and need supporters (depending my availability) I support giving some entertaining tennis drills, or lessons.
