PAN, Performing Arts Network, is a non-profit coalition of professional performing artists and arts organizations formed in order to facilitate, develop, and promote the performing arts, and to increase access, involvement and relationships between performing artists and the community
Ilisa has extraordinary passion and a wealth of knowledge of Flamenco and additional tools (musician's, singer's perspectives) that bring richness to the art form. She cares so much about the students and teaches with care to protect the alignment and joints thus preventing injuries. PAN has produced creative original shows, and incorporates famous dancers from around the world in her workshops and productions.
I like the excellent and individual attention given to each student. Ilisa is a master teacher and her classes are excellent.
My process includes assessing the level of training, if any, and desired goals of each student.
I have trained in Classical Ballet, Flamenco, Classical Spanish Dance and Acting with some of the finest artists and instructors in the world, and have performed professionally and directed productions for 40 years.

I started teaching Ballet at the age of 17, when my teacher asked me to take over her school for the summer when she was not available. I have been teaching ever since, and have expanded my training and experience in dance and theater for over four decades. While working in Spain as a Flamenco dancer, I was asked to teach and coach many of the dancers in the studios in which I rehearsed. In 1985, I started my own Flamenco school and in 1995, I founded PAN, Performing Arts Network where I have taught Ballet, Flamenco, Classical Spanish Dance, Creative Movement, Acting and Creative Writing continuously up to the present.
I have worked with students of all ages and levels of ability.
My most recent production of Dracula at the Colony Theatre where I created an original script and interpreted this classic story in the language of Flamenco music and dance with Guest Artists from Spain.
I would advise a student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise to look at the credentials and the work of the instructor and then take one class to determine wheter their teaching style is a "good gift".
Students should think through what their goals are.
