How did you get started teaching?
Lesson is starting always on a positive note or introduction. Bollettieri, system is always been to be positive and enhance the strength that a student has whether it's mental or physical . Lesson should be educational as well as fun and informative on all aspects of the game of tennis from footwork ,technique production to mental and fitness . Always start the lesson on a positive note and a light feel free warm up.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with every level of student from three years old up to 90 years old. I,ve trained high-energy clinics all over the world as well as A administrater of summer camps with enrollment of over 200 as well as trained on the senior staff or Bollettieri, tennis academy IMG ACADAMIES. I enjoy working with every level of students ,I'm not one of those pros that just wants to work with experience players. I've had all that type of experiences in the past I've been on the pro tour with players like Jim Courier number one in the world to high level college players. Have a great experience with the public running for Flamingo park on Miami Beach for 13 years . Currently running the new Tennis Center at North Miami Beach with a new academy as well as adult clinics .
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I just had great inspiration watching U.S. Open 2017 tennis event Grand Slam watching Raffy Nadal make a come back again to become number one in world with the love and passion playing the sport of tennis and making it part of his life .
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure when you hire a teaching pro of any sport that you hire someone who uses words that you can understand and learn from. You do not want somebody to just says good job that was good hit the ball .you want a coach that will teach you all about the game and understand the tool you use the tennis racket most people don't even know the parts of the name of the tennis racket. Most coaches were players but not all are meant to be teaching pros.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Ask them what experience do they have, what is their age and what levels of training are they best at .Do they have any certification or experience and where ?
