My son Rodrigo took piano lessons with Mrs. Colvert for 12 years - starting on 1st grade. She is a wonderful teacher, very dedicated to her students, a wise woman and always willing to give 100% (and more if she could) for her students. You can tell how much she loves what she does! Each year, she carefully selects her students’ repertoire according to their level and likes. When my son got older he could even choose what he wanted to learn. Her goal is not only that the child learns piano but also loves music for life. She gives plenty of opportunities to her students to keep them motivated during the year: two studio recitals (Fall and Spring), aural, theory and performance evaluations and student day evaluations - all optional events. I have recommended Mrs. Colvert to several friends and all - children and parents - were delighted with her! I would recommend her again and again!

Odalys is fantastic with my young son. He is learning drums right now and she keeps the lessons fun an interesting and mixes in things we can do as parents. She has also assisted us finding equipment and getting him comfortable with learning. Highly recommend
