Fundamentals are key. The golf swng is a natural balanced swing of a weighted club.

25 years of golf experience. Instruction, colligiate player, mini tour player, veteran with armed service golf competition experience.

How did you get started teaching?
My father has been a golf instructor for 50+ years. He bought a driving range when I was 12 and the rest is history.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Just like anything else. Everyone learns differently, teaches differently, and have different goals and abilities. Find a teacher who values what you find important. Fun is important in golf.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
What are my goals? How much time can I dedicate to learning and practice? This game is hard and it takes time and patience.
