About

I believe my service stands out because although I have coached and taught through the last 15 years, my main focus has been on producing and directing productions in every arena available for the last 29 years. From Festivals, Cruise Ships, Regional, Off Broadway and Broadway, I have been on the casting, producing, and on the other side of the table in each of these areas. So my focus in coaching and lessons are to hone your craft, and to give you the tools to work in the business and make an impression from the time you enter the room, and book the job.

It is my greatest passion. I knew it from a very young age. I enjoy watching actors soar, audiences being affected, telling a story, and the sense of community and collaboration theatre brings, and part of the success of any actor is understanding what all of those parts play in honing your craft.

I studied at Berry College in Rome, GA, and have a BA from UCF, But have worked in Orlando, NYC, and abroad as both director and producer.   Having directed off-Broadway, and produced Broadway, National Tours, and Off-Broadway.  I am currently the Education Director of Florida Theatrical Association, the presenters of the Broadway series here in Orlando, as well as Ft. Lauderdale and Miami.  I travel the state giving workshops classes

I charge $80 and hour.  But a 20% discount for booking and paying for 4 or more at a time

I first taught in theatre in College at the Charter School, and have taught at College of Saint Elizabether, but the majority of my teaching has been since coming back to Florida in my role at Florida Theatrical
All ages.  I prefer children the age of 5 and above.
I just had a audition workshop and Q and A in Panama City, FL at Gulf State University, and I just loved the varying degrees of preparedness.  There is always something we can continue to learn from, and this students attacked the “audition,” yet in so many ways, with so many still recovering from last year’s hurricane that decimated much of the area.  And to see art still thrive through all of that and I could assist these students, made me very fond of event and those students (ages 11-27).
Know what it is you  want as your primary goal in seeking these lessons and define them clearly so you can share those with your instructor.  My biggest strength is audition prep.  I have been behind the table for Broadway, Cruise Lines, etc. and know exactly the things that could be the difference between getting a callback and the role, or not.
