Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First step is knowing what you want to achieve and where you are in the way to get that. Once you set something in your mind, it already exists. So, it's just time and practice to get there. Is there a deadline? Specific objectives? Have fun? Loose weight? Improve techniques? Modelling your body? Stretching? Better posture? Musicality? Connection? Well, there could be just ANY reason to dance. Once understanding that, we'll just do it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've danced for 10 years. I have experience coaching dancers and begginers in Argentina and USA. I have taken workshops and classes to improve my Tango, Salsa, Chacha, Merengue, Bachata, Latin Folk, Argentinian Folk, Jazz, Contemporary with many artists from around the world. And I've learnt a lot from every one of them. I treasure every one of my memories, every backstage, tour, show, performance and so many friends from the dance world.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
My hourly rate is $50, one-to-one particular classes. It depends on the ruthm and the ammount of hours a week! My classes are not about learning steps that you can see on youtube, but to learn how to DANCE. How to develop your best self through dance, using tools as music and steps between many others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I've worked with a lot of different students. Kids, teens, seniors, begginers, people with different jobs just wanting to have fun, enthusiasts, people trying to loose weight, learn something new, go out, make friends, connect with themselves, intermediates trying to improve their posture, lines and musicality; and advanced dancers with specific needs as amplify stretching skills, achieve a certain coreography goal or compete. Every single one of them has thought me something and helped me grow in this awesome journey.
