Nate is an awesome drum teacher! He doesn't give you more than you can handle and he's also very patient with his students. He's really down to earth and seems to have a real passion for what he does. If you 're looking for a great teacher who'll go above and beyond to help you learn how to play the drums, this is the guy you want.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I want to first find out where they are whether on a drum set or snare and we can then move from there.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Well I am currently in college for music business and are taking lessons myself to further my skills. I have been play drumsome for about 13 years now.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

For a half an hour = $25 a week

For an hour = $30 a week

For and hour and a half = $40 a week

How did you get started teaching?

Well I'm a drummer first so I love being able to give off what little I know to people to help them become better drummers and musicians.

What types of students have you worked with?

People of all ages and kinds and I have found to make it fun for any age because when it becoming boring you don't want to do it anymore.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I loved being able to play live music at my church and placing around Lakeland opening me up to different opportunities and meeting great people.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I would say look for someone you can connect with, we are all about making better drummers but more so making connections and meeting great people.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Think about what you want out of the lessons that you will be taking.
