I teach lessons beyond just playing their instrument. I teach students how to groove and know their role in any style setting. Playing with a group is an essential tool to being a succesful musician. Being a master luthier/ guitar builder i teach students how to properly service their instruments so they dont have to pay a professional. They are the professional! Their instruments will always be propery intonated and in perfect playing setup. It is much easier to practice when your instrument plays well.
I enjoy seeing people progress at their instrument and to know that i help them is incredible. I love spreading knowlege because knowlege is power.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I will see where they are at playing and knowlege wise and start from there. I will ask them their goals and we will work towards those goals. I will asses their techique and start there. weather they have zero experience or 20 years of experience technique can always be improved and you can always progress.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 20 years experience playing drums and guitar. I also have a master luthier certification from atlanta guitar works.
