Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to learn a little about them first, what is their vision for their game, what do they want to improve. From there we set up a plan to make practice time and playing time. I tailor to the players needs based on there lifestyle. We work on one thing at a time, we focus on simple techniques & the improvement is usually immediate!

I have a bachelor of science degree from Penn State University in Commercial Recreation

How did you get started teaching?
I started golfing when I was 5 years old. Began playing competitvely at 11 and then went on to play division I golf at Penn State U. Turned pro at 23 and have been competing ever since. Teaching the game is a byproduct of what I've been teaching my self and studying for my whole life. I know the history of the game very well and have studied the greats of this game. I love to share my knowledge with others.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners and professionals, all ages
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I am on a mission to be my best in all aspects of my life so that I can help as many golfers as possible. I want my students to get the most valubale lesson of their life!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
When looking for a golf teacher, you want someone that has a lot of experience. You want someone that has great energy and is fun to be around. You want someone that has their own method of teaching and doesn't necesarily follow what everyone else does. You want someone that is honest, hard working, and passionate. You need someone that is also a great player because great players know how to think on the course and prepare.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students of the game want to be thinking what they want to improve? They should have an idea of what their weaknesses are and their strengths. They should think about what it takes to improve, which is dedication, perserverence, and self-belief!
