Irina has been in my life for more than a decade as a teacher of piano in my adult years. She continues to express her belief that it is never too late, believing the age of the student is immaterial––all you need is intelligence, persistence, and a deep desire to learn music.
Irina’s teaching method is thorough, compassionate, and filled with her own love for the piano and the beauty of sound produced by this instrument. Her methods are organized in a logical and effective way. There is nothing mechanical about them, whether we work on technique, theory, musicality, effective practicing, or building repertoire.
There are many aspects of the piano Irina has embedded deeply in my musical learning. I will list four: the value of disciplined concentration; persistence of slow but through practice; being tender with this lovely instrument will in turn bring it to sing, and the ability to listen––to listen for the sounds of joy, of song, of melancholy, of drama, of subtleties. These values continue to teach me to see and hear music in many different ways.
Irina will be in my musical life for many more years. I am deeply grateful to the alignment of the stars for this.

For my entire childhood I wished I had the opportunity to play the drums, now at 25 I have found my Music Instructor to fufill my wish!! How I am so blessed to have stumbled upon him !! He really is an extraordinary teacher always motivating me and pushing me to excel. Within a month of classes I have advanced pretty well and am looking forward to the future with Avron as my Percussion Instructor!! Classes with him are very fun and hands on, also leaves me for a couple minutes to practice on my own and "Bang it out" which works very well for me when I cant seem to grasp a new exercise. Overall he is very skilled and has a very strong passion for Instruments and music! Avron also accommodates his lesson plan/teaching style to your learning style. I was definitely struggling at one point to learn something new and Avron was able to explain it in a couple different ways so that I could understand it. I'm the kind of person who needs a patient teacher and he is just that !
