I love making people happy, being a part of assisting in conquer their challenges and learning more about themselves and life. I love helping people and helping them feel great in boosting their confidence and self esteem. When my students understand and get a move or understand musicality, or learn rhythm, I get excited to know that I helped someone and that they can use what I taught to help someone else.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Introducing them to their crew member, assessing their levels, finding out what they want to get out of the class and work towards that goal. Give them the personal attention so that they can grow and strengthen their skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Started taking formal dance classes starting with ballet from age 4. Continued with jazz, modern, tap and breakdancing in the streets. Danced with Alvin Ailey, local music videos, teaching dance from age 10. Have been in movies and nominated as best actress. I have also been singing since I was a kid, went solo, started my own group and was a member of the freestyle group, Company B and have been on tour. It was my dream from childhood to dance, sing, act and open a dance studio.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Yes, the first class is free to kids under the age of 5. The cost for two dance classes a week are $173 a month. One dance class a week is $93 a month. We also offer unlimted classes. However, that price does not include singing or acting. Adult hip hop dance lessons are $20.00 per class.
How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at the age of 10 to my friends whose parents could not afford dance lessons. Whatever I learned I taught my friends after classes.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with highly functioning autistic children as well as adults wih special needs. I teach all levels for children starting from age 4 and adults. Kids with A.D.D. and A.D.H.D. I specialize in teaching rhythm in both kids and adults.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
They should discuss their goals. I beleive it is important to make sure that it is understood what students are looking to achieve and also what the teacher is able to offer to acheive those goals. It shows that they are serious about what they want and both parties are clear if it is a good match.
