Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the beginning I watch the student’s golf swing and evaluate it. Based on that, we begin simple practice drills for improvement while creating a fun & encouraging session. I like to use video analysis as it helps with the break down of your swing.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began giving golf instruction in the early 2000's. I have instructed and helped 100's of golfers with their game. My credentials are solid, having qualified for and played in several USGA and local amateur competitions. For some students, it is enough to distill playing experience and knowlege. For others we create a fun yet challenging enviornment that leads to improvement.
How did you get started teaching?
I began teaching golf to my own children, then expanded to work with a lot of beginners and casual players. I have helped competitive golfers shed those extra strokes off their handicape.
Most importantly, I bring confidence to a player's game.
What types of students have you worked with?
I mostly work with beginners and mid-handicap players. That said, I can offer better players a quick fix over a couple of lessons.
