Welcome to District Dance Academy! We are a Dance studio located in Largo, Clearwater, Florida. We offer Adult and Kids Classes and Private lessons. Our School includes West Coast Swing, Ballet, Ballroom, Private Dance Lessons, Classes, Fitness ,Hip Hop, Tap, Yoga, Jazz Funk, Salsa, Lindy Hop, Vintage Swing, Zumba, Aerobics, Hustle, Solo, American Ballroom & Rhythm, International Latin, Kids & Youth, Carolina Shag, Stretch, Contemporary, Socials & Parties, Social & Competitive styles, Free Classes, Wedding Choreography, Special Event Routines & Entertainment, Youth.
We have a very passionate teaching staff of 17 instructiors.

We bring people together. From beginners to advanced dancers, we level the playing field by leading each person to their own individual best. We inspire people because we understand what is happening in the mind changes what happens outside of it. We believe no excuse should keep you from becoming your best. That’s why we are here. We believe that stepping beyond what we know to try something new gives us the confidence to become masters at the things we love most.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We match you up with an instructor that is passionate about teaching your level of dance. DDA has 3 types of instructors based on specialization.
Growers specialize in teaching beginners
Builders specialize in teaching intermediates
Improvers specialize in teaching Advanced
These instructors are passionate about teaching you! They choose to work with your level and love to!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a range of proficiencies with our instructors. Some of our instructors have been teaching for over 20 years and are masters of their craft. Some have degrees in Dance. We also have various teachers who are Top 5 in the world!
