About
As a former PGA Tour Player, I have a great understanding of the golf swing. If someone has been playing golf for many years I don't always try and change their swing, I just work with them on some adjustments that will help improve their swing.
For beginners; I like to focus on the basics, starting with the Grip, then to the Set-up, Alignment and then the Swing. I also like to help them understand that the golf swing takes time and patience but I work with them to make it simple and fun along the way.
I enjoy creating relationships with my students and understanding their personalities, so I can make sure they are having fun while learning the game of golf, which also makes it fun for me.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to get to know as much about the student as I can right up front. How long they have been playing or are they a beginner. I like to talk to them about how much they like to practice and how much they like to play.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a Professional Golf Instructor for the past 25 years, teaching in different areas across the country.
Prior to teaching, I turned Professional at the age of 18 and played in different tournaments all over the United States. At the age of 23, I qualified for the PGA Tour and played in 1978 & 1979. I also played the 1979 and 1981 US Opens. One of my great achievements was winning the 1992 Canadian PGA Championship.
