Lake Mary Dance Lessons
About
High quality private lessons from a passionate dance coach. I take the time to find out what inspires you, so that we can reach your goals ASAP! No experience required, we'll get you dancing in no time!
I enjoy meeting new people, sharing my experience, and watching students become the dancer they long to be! I started dancing as a little girl, and haven't stopped since. I'm fortunate to have years of training, and really enjoy teaching dance to others. I'm very patient with my students, and meet them where they are.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I like to begin by speaking over the phone, so that I can better understand your background. Once I have a good understanding of what you'd like to accomplish, we'll set a time to meet and begin your dance journey!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I began ballet at the age of 4, and spent over 10 years in jazz and hip hop. I've trained with the top world Latin instructors, and have travelled the world teaching others how to dance. I'm a world salsa and bachata champion, and enjoy sharing my training with the next generation of dancers!
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons begin at $80/hr for individuals, $100/hr for couples, and up for small groups (corporate).
How did you get started teaching?
I was asked to assist some of the great male instructors I've had the priviledge of learning under, and quickly made my way to the front of the room to lead, especially the women.
What types of students have you worked with?
My students are from all walks of life and culture - young, old, experienced, novice, wealthy, humble, couples and individuals. I even have a student in a wheel chair!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Interview the teacher, ask questions, find out if you have similar interests, and take a lesson!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
As a student, think about your experience with movement (dance, martial arts) and music (band, family). Having a background in movement and/or music helps, but is not required to be a great dancer!
Do you have any limitations?
What is the end result you'd like to achieve? What does that look like?
Are you willing to be patient as you get up to speed, or do you want results instantly?
