About
I am looking to change the world with music and dance. My goal is to motivate young minds and rid the world of negativity. Recent studies have demonstrated that there has been a tremendous spike with the number of youth joining gangs, participating in gang activity, and committing criminal acts. Children and young adults need an extra-curricular activity such as dance which is a positive, enduring activity which will assist in keeping them in shape, decreasing their level of stress and maintaining their ability to stay out of unnecessary trouble. Dancing is a positive and motivational way to relieve tension by means of exercising, learning about other cultural dances, and also practicing the basic techniques of dance.
I have experience in performing live on stage, opening for artist such as, Bobby Valentino and Yung Joc. I have also taught after school dance classes at Middle schools, High Schools and at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Lake Mary Florida. What I enjoy the most about my position, is seeing my students grow.

Frequently asked questions
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained in Ballroom with Arthur Murray Dance studio in: Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, Salsa, Merengue, Rumba, Hustle, East-Coast Swing, Bolero, Cha-cha, Bachata, and Samba.
I am self-taught in Hip-hop and I have choreographed dozens of dance routines. I have also performed on stage for live shows, coached beginners to be able to dance on stage to music and help build their confidence.
How did you get started teaching?
I found out that I have a natural gift for teaching dance during my time working at a community center for children. I started out dancing for fun until I was asked could I teach. I slowly began to offer classes and my students grew self-esteem and more confidence in themselves.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with beginners that seemed to have two left feet and I have also worked with intermediate dancers as well. I look forward to instructing any and all levels of dancers.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
So You Think You Can Dance! I have auditioned for the show and I have received a pass to the second audition. It was a really huge opportunity to get my name out and expand my business.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Having patience is the key. I want my students to know that they will not learn everything in a day and some people learn faster than others. I promise to take my time with my students until they are comfortable enough to dance in front of strangers by themselves.
