Actor and producer of one man show "Give em Hell Harry" performing show since 2011 at theater, colleges, universities and civic organizations. Sanford Meisner technique. Core of acting is Everything should be as in real life.
I enjoy the absolute freedom on stage to become a flesh and blood character in a story that a playright has written for an audience wanting to step into another world for a respite from their own lives...even for just 2 hours. Seeing that happen every night brings immense enjoyment

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Question and answer first session with student to determine level of interest and desire to be an actor. Then a specific program for that student will be developed to move student along in the process.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
25 yr career as professional radio broadcaster along with a professional acting career with 15 years of acting and directing in the Chicago Theater Community.

A seven lesson personal intensive cost is $125.00. Each lesson lasts one hour.
A fifteen lesson personal intensive cost is. $300.00 Each lesson lasts one hour.
How did you get started teaching?
Have been teaching classes at the University level since 1991. Currently a faculty member of Florida Gulf Coast University in Punta Gorda. Have been a guest lecturer at State College of Florida in Venice since 2007.
What types of students have you worked with?
Highschool age and older.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
Playing the role of Norman in "On Golden Pond" at Lemonbay Playhouse in Englewood. A great ensemble cast performing an iconic play. It was a tremendously rewarding time on stage.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Look at the credentials of the teacher and take advantage of a free phone call with teacher to initiate a conversation to see if you are comfortable with individual.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
