I am fluent in ASL due to being deaf in my left year. I been teaching ASK for over 15 years starting at a summer camp and teaching it throughout college & tutoring high school & middle school students after that. I love the language and enjoy sharing it with others.
Also been acting since I was in middle school, went to a performing arts camp and majored in Acting and Teaching in college at the University of Arizona.
I love teaching students my passion and hope it becomes theirs.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My first order of business is to find out the best way the student learns. What kind of person he or she is so they get the best of my tutoring. Everyone learns differently so you need to find out what works best for them. After that, you can start with the basics and go from there.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Learned both ASL and Acting at a young age and continued learning both throughout high school and college at the University of Arizona. Been tutoring both for over 15 years.
