We fully endorse Sound Picture Recording and Music Lessons. In addition to being an accomplished musician and audio technician, Chuck is also a very kind, thorough, and accommodating drum teacher. Our son Ethan has been taking drum lessons with Chuck for several years now and he loves it. His playing has also improved exponentially. Chuck’s the type of instructor who goes above and beyond all expectations. Our family has deeply appreciated how he has shown our son how to record his own drumming in the studio and mix music on the sound board in order to make CDs to send to his grandfather in NY. As educators ourselves, our family cannot recommend Chuck and Sound Picture Recording and Music Lessons enough.

The drum patterns are creative. This is the right music education for our child. Chuck values each lesson with every client, and puts his time into his career. He is a most talented drummer. His gift stands out among the band. He is an asset to every playing opportunity.

How did you get started teaching?

Teaching has come naturally to me through studio recording sessions.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have worked with young beginners through advanced. Several of my drum students have gone on to the University of Miami music program.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

Recently one of my students became the Drumline Captain of his high school marching band.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

If you make a decision to play drums, if you maintain the desire to practice playing drums, if you stay dedicated to studying and practicing proper playing habits, you absolutely will receive into manifestation your goal of being an outstanding drummer.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

You have to make time to practice. Don't even think about playing if you don't think about practicing.
