As an adult first time player, Steven has been very patient with me. Technique and consistency were his focal points in my instruction and I get complimented on those by many. He motivates and pushes you to be a better player. He is a great instructor for all skill levels and I look forward to continuing to work with him.

Steven is always prepared for our lesson but also very willing to adjust to any concerns I might have on specific issues. A typical lesson will be a technique followed by a drill to reinforce the new information. (We do this several times as we move through the lesson.) He is very patient and kind. I LOVE STEVEN! (I am a 3.0 player/8 years experience, 53 y.o.)

I have taken many private lessons & clinics with Steven. Many of my friends have taken lessons with him as well and are very impressed with his ability to connect with his clients. I highly recommend him as he varies each lesson and clinic with different drills, competitive and challenging games that keep us moving while coaching with a warm positive demeanor, creating a remarkable effect on his clients . He seems to have a keen ability to recognize the areas of my game that need improvement, and then give clear direction and provide an encouraging environment conducive to positive change that have helped raise my level of play . Steven seems to have an outstanding ability to build the confidence of his players that he works with. He is very good at putting students at ease, which facilitates skill & fitness development. He always seems to have an genuine interest in seeing his players improve and does a nice job of boosting self-esteem on the court while trying to change bad habits. I have seen him work with a variety of personalities and been impressed with the many successes and composure he maintains. Steve's personality and skills make him an effective teacher, leader & coach . Most importantly is that he is respectful, caring, encouraging and has a good sense of humor. With his positive attitude, he creates a fun spirit lesson that is combining a high level of sportsmanship and expertise in tennis that makes him a great asset to anyone he works with.

Steve and the Infinity Tennis team are phenomenal! I consider myself to be fairly athletic and took tennis in college as an elective for a few easy credits. However, it wasn't until I had some lessons with Steven that I truly enjoyed the sport and am even becoming good at it! His love for tennis shows through his approach to coaching. He's patient, encouraging, and pushed me to do my best. I've recommended him to other friends before and wouldn't hesitate to do so again and again.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Firstly, I want to make sure there is so me type of chemistry between us. We want to make sure I can get through them all of the levels of teaching whether it's visual, audio and mental.

Secondly we will come up with a common goal of what we want to accomplish from these lessons. What is our short term and long term goal.

Thirdly, we must come up with a schedule or routine for the lessons. I always tell my clients it takes a out 4-5 lessons to see a real difference with a stroke or strategy.

Lastly, let's go out there and have some fun. If we are not doing this as a profession, we must enjoy it and have a great time out there.
