Dancers ‘shine’ in Ms. Lisa’s Dance classes, as their imaginations and creativity come alive. Ms. Lisa’s Dance studio is a positive encouraging environment where students of all ages and abilities are welcomed. Here at Ms. Lisa’s we strive for excellence in the art of dance, while building a strong foundation of technique and creating lasting friendships. Dancers are not only students but family, where Ms. Lisa’s Dance Studio is a home away from home.
Ms. Lisa was a shcool teacher for many years, before deciding to open a dance studio. Ms. Lisa's Dane has been a succesful dance studio in South Tampa for over 13 years, and has trained hundreds of students, some who have gone on to become proffessional dancers and dance teachers. Ms. Lisa as well as all of her teachers and staff, have a passion for kids and strive to inspire the passion for dance into all of their students.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Ms. Lisa's Dance offers over 80 different classes of different styles, ages, and levels. Before we place a new student in a class, we talk with the student and their family. We ask not only their dance experience but also their interest and hobbies, so we can find the best class option for each individual student. New students are then placed in an age apprioprate class where the teachers are able to nuture their dance abilities and skills.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Ms. Lisa grew up in Chicago and started dancing as a young child. She immediately fell in love with the art of dance and decided to pursue her dance abilites in college while earning a dance degree at Iowa State University. After teaching in the public school system for 15 years, Ms. Lisa decided to open her own dance studio. As Ms. Lisa's Dance studio has grown, she has hired proffessional dancers with dance degrees to be part of the Ms. Lisa's dance family as staff and teachers.

Class prices vary depending on the age on the dancer.
All Baby and two year old classes are $55 per month and all other classes are $60 per month. Ms. Lisa's Dance does offer multiple tuition discounts, including a military discount, sibling discount, and a multiple class discount.
