What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I start with an introduction and ask a few questions on playing background and previous instruction and coaching. Begin with a few minutes of Mini Tennis and Volleys which can give me an overall idea about the students tennis game. Then, I will move the student to the baseline and feed/hit a few more balls to complete the evaluation.
Before starting the lesson on a specific stoke or strategy I will give a short Pro Demonstration ... and off to GREAT TENNIS lesson!

I was an international Pro Player, Tennis Coach, Tennis Director, Tennis Club Owner in NYC and am an Elite Certified USPTA Coach with more than 30 years Experience in the Tennis Industry.

What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with World Class Tennis Players and both Children and Adults of all ages and tennis levels.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Check to see if they are a Certified Tennis Professional. Don't hire a Tennis Coach because of a cheap hourly rate. Picking the wrong tennis instructor could be boring or teaching an old method of instruction that will NOT Help YOUR Game. If you've had injuries a Tennis Pro with a fitness and first aid backgound/CPR is a PLUS.
