About
I am a 20 year old tennis player from the Netherlands. I am playing tennis since a very young age. Before coming to the U.S. I became a runner-up in doubles in the national dutch tournament u18, and won several national tournament titles in singles. Currently, I am playing for the Keiser Women's Tennis Team here in West Palm Beach.
In the Netherlands I have given tennis lessons at the AMJOY tennis academy for two years, group lessons as well as individual sessions. Where I did sparring with several top itf junior players (Top 500itf juniors). And was a sparring partner for a top 350 WTA player.
I started playing tennis since a very young age, and I have a big passion for the beautiful sport of tennis, which I enjoy to transfer onto others. My goal in every lesson is to teach you something new each session and to develop my players into complete players. Through including all four of the aspects of tennis in the program; the technical, strategical, physical, and mental aspect.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In the first lesson I will start with determining the current level of a player and its strengths and weaknesses. After having a clear map of the player's abilities, I will create a Player Progression Plan in consultation with a player to determine what we are going to work on to get as soon as possible to our wanted results. This can differ from improving the technique of the forehand/backhand, to improving footwork and expanding on the use of different stances, improving serve and return to get advantage early on in a point, working on developing new playing tactics, or working on mental strength that can highly favor your tennis.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Currently, I am playing for the women's tennis team of Keiser University. Before coming to college I have always given tennis lessons in my spare time, and received a Certificate from the Royal Dutch Lawn Tennis Association.
