Our school of arts and etiquette not only delivers the common dance and arts education. It completes the experience by forming students that can complement their steps with life and survival knowledge. Mindfulness, Dance, Yoga and Protocols in Etiquette are not a only a fun way to escape from problems, but a way to transform the student and make this discipline become a way of living. Our academy started in 1994 in Bogota Colombia, now expanding horizons with the collaboration with our wonderful partners in USA. The Academy of Arts has a strong backgroung in Danca Du Ventre, Indian dances and Yoga. But in the past 8 years we have been developing strong programmes for kids in Greek Dances, Contemporary Dance and Contemporary Bellydance. All these around the job of taking the students into a whole new level. They will grow as dancers but as good humans as well. Our method was created and based in ancestral teachings of Ancient Egyptian and Indian cultures that used dance and used mindfulness in a sacred way, in a way to heal. Healing the mind blockages many other fields in life can be unblocked. So we retrain the mind along with the body to make the dancing and social behavior experience unique!
Thanks to this approach to our students, Colombian Magazine STETIKA, granted us the award of BEST HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER for 3 years in a row. Cromos Magazine also selected our director as one of the Outstanding woman in 2010, having her invited in woman's month issue.
In our academy loving what we do is a must. We hire people with high emotional intelligence. This is the success of our process and the only way to get results is dancing with our mind, body, soul and spirit levels.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Welcoming them! Make them feel that they have arrived to the right place to heal through Mindfulness and Dances along with learning how to keep themsleves upscale in protocol, etiquette and good manners.
For us as school is important to follow the students emotions from the beginning. After analysing the students attitude we have the regular meeting with the parent if under 18, or the student if over 18.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All the staff is properly trained. Our Director makes special emphasis in updating herself to bring everyday more to the academy. She is trained in Ancient Oriental teachings, Yoga, and Mindfulness in Berkeley University, Oriental and european dances, Protocol, Etiquette and Perfect Manners not only in dance but in society in finishing schools in France we are a school where students come to learn upscale social behavior. But the most important thing: We love what we do.
Our aim is to create new teachings that combined with everything will result in something completely new and fun!

How did you get started teaching?
I just love it, and hire natural born dancers.
What types of students have you worked with?
Everyone and everywhere. We have taught so far more than 2000 students in several disciplines included Oriental Dance, Ballroom Dance, Latin Dances and much more contact us and we will be thrilled to guide you.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
