What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I first like to get to know the student - what their experience level is, why they want to study acting and what their goals are/what they hope to accomplish through training. Then I setup a schedule based off that information.
I focus on the foundations of acting for TV, film and commercials. We will train in audition technique, scene study and the business side of acting (set etiquette, resume structure, demo reels, website building and more).
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Cold Reading + Scene Study - Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop
TV & Film Audition Study - Mornell Studios
Long Form Improv - Highwire Comedy Co.
On-Camera Audition Technique - Tim Phillips Studio
Meisner Technique - The Robert Mello Studio
Scene Study w/ Meisner Focus - Creative Studios of Atlanta
Meisner Technique - Los Angeles Film Studies Center
Short Form Improv - Improv Nashville Theater

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching out of a natural desire to help others succeed in a field I am extremely passionate about. To inspire and encourage them the same ways I've been inspired and encouraged in my life. I also really enjoy pointing out pitfalls in this crazy industry that can easily be avoided. I'm here as both coach and cheerleader!
What types of students have you worked with?
My training is structured for and focused on teenage and adult actors who are interested in pursuing acting as a profession or hobby. My students range from beginner to experienced actors and everything in between!
