What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, we do an assesment. Not on how developed of an Actor or Film-maker you are, but how much of your purpose and success you have grasped. This is a succesful start in the industry no matter what path.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the field for 15 plus years, in Acting, Directing, Writing, Producing, and every other position on set. I have released my feature film in wal-mart and now available on ITunes. The movie is called "Curveball"

How did you get started teaching?
I started teaching at the age of 18. I was brought in by the big scam companies to preform services. I learned and structured my own business. I have been launching people into the business ever since!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with over 4000 kids and adults all over the world. Shy, quiet, not confident, overly confident, talented and all sorts of talent.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
The first kid of Acting Up starred in the latest block buster hit IT. We are proud of all of our students, but Chosen Jacobs truley sets a standard.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
I would never hire a Acting Teacher. The ACTING teacher does not know the role of a Director, but only the conversations on set. Hire Directors as your teachers. It's set experience.
