Laura is very open about 'what works' and 'what isn't working' - she is very personable, warm and caring - you know that praise and coaching come from the heart, and she is spot on with her feedback. Laura is an exceptional performer, and I have learned a great deal from her...not only about our art, but about effective interpersonal communications as well.

I understand the value and importance of formal training but there is something special about working with someone who is still in the trenches just like you. All of my training has been hands on. On the set, On the production team, On the casting team.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

I know the financial struggles for actors so my prices are as follows. $25.00 Per. Hr. for acting instruction you can schedule as many hrs. as you like not to exceed 2 hrs. per. session. or just one hr. at a time.

How did you get started teaching?

Well, it sorta found me. I would post and share my accomplishments on social media and actors would and ask me "What are you doing to land these roles"

I would respond and it just happened! I love it, I would describe my style of teaching as Raw. I create an environment for learning by using what you have; I expound on your natural talent. It is also very, very important that the actor begin to learn the business.

There is never any pressure but I will push you to your full potential. I will study you as I teach you. The more I know about you; the more I will pull out of you.

What types of students have you worked with?

All types from beginners to trained actors, male/female, adults and children.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

To be honest, I get invited to so many events and I only go to the ones that provide opportunities. I am way too busy just to be hanging out. I am trying to build a brand.

Events can be tricky so I do my research and go from there. I can honestly say that most of the events I attend are quite beneficial.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

*Find a teacher who makes you feel comfortable

*Find a teacher who is actively working in the industry

*Find a teacher who communicates well/they just don't tell you to do something, but they can justify why something should be done a certain way and they are willing to help you understand the process.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

*What do I want to accomplish (Goals/Objectives)

*Is this what I really want to do (Hobby or Career)

*Do I/Will I be able to commit to these classes and or process
