Company Owner/Instructor Back Ground!

co-owner/instructor: LaNisha was born in Decatur, Georgia and blessed with the natural ability to dance. She began expressing her talent at the tender age of 5. For years she was an "untrained dancer" but was able to book little dance gigs all over the Atlanta area. Throughout her primary education days she became a cheerleader where her flexibility shined. She later began her professional training at Mt Zion Performing Arts School, now known as Martha Ellen Stillwell School of the Arts; where she trained under Ms. Jaquanna Johnson, Ms. Keila Harvey, Ms. Katina Cooper, Ms. Andrea Price and Ms. Kathleen Wessel learning dance history, basics of choreographing, modern, jazz, ballet, pointe, hip-hop, lyrical, contemporary as well as, African. She was featured in numerous school and county musicals and productions where she was able to learn the basics of acting such as Footloose and the Nutcracker with Atlanta festival Ballet. She was a competitive dancer in numerous regional and national competitions across the nation such a Dance Makers Inc, where she and fellow dance mates competed and won a grand prize of $500 for judge’s choice. She was nominated for the governor’s honors program for dance 10th and 11th grade (semi-finalist). Prior to graduating in 2011 she expanded her knowledge of dance and interned at local studios such as, Price Performing Arts and took master classes from industry choreographers such as Chuck Maldonado (Stomp the yard), Jimmy Locust ( Janet Jackson and Coming to America) and also Luam Keflezgy (Rihanna) just to name a few. She took classes at well known studios such as Dance 411, Gotta Dance and even Debbie Reynolds Dance studio in Los Angeles, CA. She was chosen to work as a dancer for Xcel Talent Agency where she later found was not for her. LaNisha soon realized the love she had for children and education. She's always had a dream to work for herself and with the help of her partner Bryan Brinson together they were able to create their dream company.
