How did you get started teaching?
Teaching has always been natural for me.
My dance/teaching career began around the age of 10, when a fortuitous coincidence found me watching Michael Jackson's videos, and it was from this coincidence that I passionately decided to put myself into the world of dance.
Drawing inspiration from my idol, I staged one of my favorite Michael Jackson videos at age 11- Billie Jean (one of MJ's first solo videos). But this was not enough, as I wanted my own show. I was also inspired by Smooth Criminal, another MJ video, and so I created a show with it and I made the choreography for more than 50 children between the ages of 6 and 15 years old, and we also performed the final Mambo famously known from the movie Dirty Dancing.
What types of students have you worked with?
I worked with all kinds of students!
I have been teaching people of all ages and experience levels for more than 15 years, always maintaining my commitment to help others discover and reach their full potential.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Keep your lessons as close together as possible.
Use a little notebook to take notes of new concepts introduced.
Practice, practice, and practice!!
