Music should be fun, so I try to make the lessons fun, so that the student will want to practice. Students can learn the rudiments, reading, and playing with another instrument. Once they learn certain beats and fills, we will put it to a song, where I will play piano or guitar while they play drums. This will get them ready to play with other instruments and join a band. I have played drums with the following: Boots Randolph, Floyd Cramer, Danny Davis and the Nashville Brass, Donna Fargo, Stella Parton, Ronnie McDowell, and Liberace. I played a concert in Carnegie Hall back in 2015.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I want to find out their interest and what they are wanting to learn in the lessons. Some will want to read and some will just want to play songs.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had 3 great drum teachers and worked toward a B.S. in music education
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Lessons will be $25 per 30 minutes. If I come to your house it will be more depending on where you live. Most home lessons will take a 60 min lesson to make the cost seem less.
