I'm the assistant men's tennis coach for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets.
Derek Schwandt has been the men's assistant coach at Georgia Tech since July 2012. He coached at the University of Virginia and Fresno State prior to his arrival at Georgia Tech.
Schwandt played ITF futures and ATP challengers all over the world and earned an ATP world ranking in singles and doubles.
In two years at Fresno State, Schwandt helped the Bulldogs win two straight WAC regular season and tournament championships and rise to No. 14 in the ITA rankings in 2012
During Schwandt's time at UVA, the Cavs won the 2009 and 2010 ITA National Team Indoor Championships, ACC Championships, and NCAA doubles title.
