About
I’m a working actor and multiaward winning filmmaker. I taught at a film school for four years and taught both actors and filmmakers. During that time I was mentored by a two-time Emmy Award winning actor. I’ve worked with all ages from young children all the way up to seniors. In fact one of my child actresses has won best actress and is recurring on the new DC Comics series Star Girl and one of my senior students Dorothy Steel played the tribal elder on Black Panther. All of my clients have signed with big agents through my referrals and are auditioning for big projects. I also tape auditions and will help you rehearse and get off book plus I will coach you for your audition. My clients work a lot because I’m as passionate about helping them book the role as I am booking the role for my own auditions. I’ve taped thousands of actors over the years. My classes are fun and you get to act for most of the class. I also give you business of the business knowledge while we work. I’ve booked 7 major roles in the last year. You can see me on Ozark with Jason Bateman the first episode of the second season and I played the lead bad guy on NCIS New Orleans episode 313 to name a few. I also own Reel Monster Productions which is a multiaward winning production company. I write, direct, and produce custom written short films for actor’s reels. Actor’s hire us to write and shoot movies with them as the lead and cast working actors opposite them to help them get agents and auditions. We’ve got a great deal on custom written short films right now. Five of my movies were finalists in the London film festival and my movie A Girl and Her Zombie won 17 best short awards and is currently on Amazon! https://www.amazon.com/Girl-her-Zombie-Timothy-Richardson/dp/B07DD2LZNP Chose me as your acting coach and I promise to get you working in Film and Television. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1vaG2pWUxRgWL08qYzWnZcXSc4QLddm0H/view?usp=drivesdk

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My goal is to help you work in film and television as an actor. In order to work as an actor you have to audition well, it’s our job! So we work on audition mastery and scene study which is acting in a scene. If you want to be an actor you have to act a lot so we act, doing scenes from film and television, through most of the class. Then we transition to doing the scene on camera as if it were an audition. We also talk about business of the business knowledge so you’ll know what to do and what not to do and when you’re ready I’ll refer you to an agent!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelors of Acting and Film and I taught at a film school for four years. I was also mentored by a two time Emmy Award winning actor for four years. I’ve taped thousands of actors auditions over the years as well as my own. I also booked 7 major roles last year. I’m also a multiaward winning filmmaker.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I charge the same for class as I do for taping auditions. I charge: $60 per hour and I encourage students to do a two or three hour class once a week. Mainly because one hour goes by so quickly and it’s hard to get any real work done. Students can take as many classes during the week as they choose. These classes are private coaching classes so they focus on you and how we need to do to get you working. I also work around your schedule.
How did you get started teaching?
I applied to the film school to learn from the two time Emmy Award winner and after a month he was so impressed with my talent and drive that he hired me to teach and work alongside him. He even had me read and tape his auditions. Now I teach on my own and have been teaching and coaching on my own for the last four years
What types of students have you worked with?
I’ve worked with all agents from child actors all the way up to seniors. I can help anyone work as an actor!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I read with a friend for his audition and coached him and the role and he booked the role from the tape we sent in! I was so proud of him!!!
I also watched one of my actresses become the lead of a short film and she won best actress because of my coaching!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
You want to find a coach that is doing what you want to do. If they aren’t working as an actor and auditioning how will they help you work as an actor and audition. You also want someone who knows the business and can easily communicate with you on how to get where you want to be!
