Frequently asked questions

Unless coaching for a specific audition, every new student will have an intro session. During this 45 minute session, the student will present a memorized piece of text, we will workshop the text for 30 minutes, allowing me to see their current skill level and ability to take direction. In the remaining 15 minutes, we will discuss the actors previous work and future goals and I will make my recommendations to you for training and overall career development.
I have been a professional actor for over 25 years. I began my career as a series regular on a popular Warner Brothers sitcom, The Parent Hood and went on to star and co star in several commercials, films, television shows and music videos. Aside from my professional credits, I am classically trained actor with over 15 years of training and I hold a BFA from California Institute of the Arts. Upon receiving the degree, I began my own coaching business and have dedicated my time to assisting other young and budding actors in achieving their goals.
Classes are priced the hour or half hour and based on student age range.
I have been a professional actress for over 25 years. I have classically trained in some of the most challenging and sought after programs in the industry. Upon receiving my bachelors degree from the California Institute of the Arts I officially began my coaching business and I have been successfully coaching actors of all ages and levels for over 15 years.
I have worked with students ages 3-65 years old. Both new and veteran actors. I have also used my coaching methods to coach many people in other professions including lawyers, motivational speakers, and other teachers.
I Most recently I have had the pleasure of coaching at a pretty well known acting studio in Atlanta and several of my clients have booked featured extra or recurring roles on popular television series that are shooting here! I love seeing my students shine, succeed, and most importantly BOOKED!

I would do your due diligence and as much research as possible. Be wary of certain (really expensive) acting schools offering showcases or extensive training. While acting lessons certainly are an investment, they should not bankrupt you, especially if you cannot find a reliable source to verify that the "acting school" is reputable (read the reviews!). If you intend to do this for the long haul, then save up for a certificate or degree program from a legitimate conservatory or institution!

As a long time professional actor and coach I am looking for students who are serious, hard working, or at least willing to give it a good try. Before investing in consistent classes with a coach, I would ask yourself.

1. What is your overall goal?

2. Who are some of your biggest artistic influences?

3. What is inspiring this decision to look for an acting coach NOW.

4. Are you willing to devote an appropriate amount of time to developing your skills?

5. Is this something you are doing for fun or is this a career goal?
