Check out my website. I produce photography as well as shoot, write and independent film projects. This is a stand out because I've seen it all on the SCENE. A good coach/teacher has an well rounded perspective on life. I have no investment in power, nor ego. My interest is in the confidence of my students.
I am a filmmaker in Atlanta, GA. My expertise is in preparing newly aspiring artists to take their time in character development for auditions, speaking engagements and on screen projects. Currently, my work is under development with Trace.TV and Theshay West Productions for 'Dream The Urban Musical'. I have also worked with Todd Tucker and Kandi Burrus on screenplays.
My approach to the art of acting is to first and farmost LISTEN to the actor, to help that actor discover their strengths and weaknesses as they develop their instincts for dynamic character choices.
I hold a degree from Georgia State University in Film/Video. I was a performer in the San Francisco Bay Area for fourteen years, before bringing my expertise to Atlanta, GA. I've studied at the prestigious American Conservatory Theater in San Franciso. And, had the pleasure of working with Colman Domingo, from hit movies such as 'Lincoln', 'Selma', and 'The Butler'. Also, I've worked with Rhodessa Jones in The Medea Project: Theater for Incararated Women.
I enjoy the process of watching growth. Drama and theater is a very theraputic form of expression. It lends itself to the prospect of the limitless. You can be anyone as an actor. You can explore, accept, reject and discover attributes of the self and the human condition. It is life affirming to help students make that discovery to carry with them as they continue to explore the landscape of acting.
