About
I am a classically trained chef who understands that not everyone wants to be a culinary guru but may want to be more efficient in the kitchen. I love being able to use my skillset to help others who want to prepare healthier meals, tastier meals or even just quicker meals! Instead of just teaching my students to follow a recipe I teach them the skillset to be more efficient in the kitchen and make cooking fun!
I love seeing my students master a new skill. Once they have learned the basics they are ready to move on to more challenging tasks. There is never a dull moment! When I am not teaching I absolutely love tweaking new recipes and creating new menu items. Cooking is not just what I do - it is truly my super power!!!

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I do have a set of classes that I offer but I also like to hear what it is that the student wants to get out of the class. I like to know that they are actually benefiting from the course!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been a personal chef/private chef and caterer for 12 years. I am classically trained and proud graduate of The Art Institute of Atlanta.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Basic knife Skills (first class offered) 60.
Pricing beyond fundamental knife skills begin at 125.
How did you get started teaching?
Many of my clients and friends would often ask culinary questions and I realized there was a need to address and assist others in being more proficient in the kitchen .
What types of students have you worked with?
College students, retired, busy professionals. I often mentor chefs and we actually bounce ideas off of each other and master new taste profiles. Everyone can benefit from the classes that I offer!
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I was the first chef to be featured on the front page of The Cover Magazine. It was an amazing opportunity to make My Secret Recipe the worst kept secret!!!! The first covergirl chef, I like that!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Don't let the price point make the decision for you-look to see what is being offered and if you will get what you are looking to benefit from. Ask questions then make your decision.
