What my students love more about my class is that it is taught in a kitchen similar to theirs, where what they learn here, they get to do at home without any complications. After class, we all get to eat what we created and take any leftovers home, and it's always exciting to taste how delicious food can be when made by your own hands.

I am a self taught cook and baker. I have been cooking ever since I was 10 years old. My first job was in a grocery store bakery. That was my first taste of baking and I fell in love. Over the years, I worked in chain restaurants, but it wasn't until I started working for Emeril's Restaurant in New Orleans, that my food world opened up. I learned about fine dining and not your normal ingredients as well as the art of patisserie. I started buying cookbooks from chefs and started teaching myself how to create the meals and desserts I craved. That is my hope to teach any student, is that you too can make anything you think is only for the traine ... View Profile
