Britt Brown Dance Lessons

Britt Stevens Brown is a dance instructor and choreographer located in Atlanta, GA. Originally from Long Island, New York, she started taking dance classes at the tender age of 4 at Adele's Dance Studio, Queens, NY. At 9 years old, she joined the dance ministry at Grace Cathedral International, Uniondale, NY. Two years later she began choreographing. As the years went by, she choreographed for various dance groups ranging from ages five to sixty-five at Grace Cathedral. As her interest in dance and the performing arts increased, she began take more classes at Dance Arts Repertoire, Hempstead, NY. Dance Arts Repertoire is where she was trained extensively in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Musical Theater, African, Hip-Hop, and even Flamenco. She also became more involved in dance groups at her high school, Kellenberg Memorial High School, Uniondale, NY.

In 2004, she began her college career studying Dance Theater at Manhattanville College and then Hofstra University. She studied Ballet and Modern, Choreography, Pilates, Dance History, Dance Production, and Creative Process.

Since moving Atlanta, she has shared her gifts, talents and passion for the arts as a dance instructor and choreographer for Dance Depot 5, Envision Dance Academy, Sheltering Arms Stonewall Tell, Atlanta Church of God By Faith, ATL Unique Steppers, Southwest Performing Arts Center and Elizabeth Baptist Church. She currently teaches at Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education at their Buckhead location and their Community Engagement Program.
